why i hate tania

hey i just got back from a really fun yoga retreat for peace corps volunteers. we went to an self statainable organic farm. it was so pretty and peacefull.

i was accidentally in nicaragua the other day. i missed the bus to a little kids birthday party a couple of towns over so i decided to walk. along the way i got a hitch hike from a little kid on a bike and then 2 trucks. it was so much fun! then we were swimming in the river and someone told me i was in nicaragua! i walked 20 minutes into nicaragua and i found the closest volunteer to me! it was so weird seeing this random gringa walking to a small li'l dusty street.

why i hate tania

ok my friend tania's peace corps location is in a very touristy beach town on the north coast called ceiba.

after having climbed a mountain just to get the slightest li´l ray of cell signal: (to everyone in her phone book) ¨please save me from this never ending pit of bordem.¨

part 2

(us having a phone conversation)

me: (putting drops in her infected ears and rubbing cream on her arm after getting it stuck in a ceiling fan) "oh i'm just kinda upset because there aren't any houses in my site for me to live in....what?? i cant hear. my baterie is running out because the electricity has been out for 2 days."

tania: (laying on the white sandy beach drinking out of a cocanut) "well i was saying that last week i only made it do copan instead of guatemala, but now i'm thinking of going to cuba with my friend that owns the club bamboo...oh yeah did i tell you i just got internet in my house and i have a USA phone line?"
